Every recommendation has a concrete reason: a season, a mood and an address we know personally. The atmosphere may be calm, welcoming, discreet or culinary, or carry exactly the measure of adventure that feels right.

Founded by Christian Göbel in 1994, run together with Ulrike Göbel as a team since 1999. Many addresses in the atlas we know from our own journeys, all of them from years of advising.
