November to April: Andaman Sea coast, meaning Phuket's dry northern season. Trisara's sheltered eastern bay position offers more flexibility than west-coast resorts.

Couples on honeymoon or a private retreat who prioritise genuine seclusion and direct ocean frontage. Also suitable for small family groups with the seven-bedroom Residential Villa.

Best time to travel November to April on the Andaman coast

Phuket and Koh Lanta sit on the Andaman coast, which follows a clear rhythm. November to April is dry, with daytime values around 28 to 34 degrees and a calm sea. May to October brings the southwest monsoon, wettest between June and September. For snorkelling and boat trips, travel in the dry window; the rainy months are quieter and cheaper but come with uncertain sea conditions.

  • November to February Driest and most comfortable stretch, with a calm sea, plenty of sun and daytime values around 28 to 32 degrees. Best conditions for the reefs around Koh Haa and the Similan Islands. Peak season, so busier.
  • March to April Still dry, increasingly hot and humid ahead of the monsoon. Good for beach and water, with the Andaman Sea staying calm.
  • May to October Southwest monsoon with rain and swell, heaviest from June to September. Some boat trips and dive sites are limited; in return, empty beaches and lower prices.

What you come here for.

  1. A private day in the resort's own bay

    Trisara sits in a sheltered bay north of Phuket Town, away from the crowded zones around Patong. Noe Beach is reserved for resort guests, one of the few genuinely private beaches on the island.

  2. Sailing trip to the islands of Phang Nga Bay

    From the beach, a day on the water heads to the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay. Instead of the full day-tours, a private boat on a calm route through the islands.

  3. Thai cooking lesson with market visit

    The resort's cooking lesson begins at a local market and ends at the stove of the Trisara kitchen. Curry paste in the mortar, wok over an open flame, then the meal at the pavilion.

  4. Dinner in the Ocean Pool Villa

    In the Signature Ocean Pool Villas the butler sets the table at the pool's edge, the Andaman Sea right below. A private dinner at sunset, with no walk to a public restaurant.

  • Canoe tour into the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay: sea caves and mangroves, best arranged through a local guide rather than a large group tour.
  • Snorkelling at Similan Islands National Park: clear water and intact coral reefs, a full-day speedboat excursion, approximately two hours each way.
